Dude, There Were A Lot Of Birthdays Yesterday!

Because we don't have 32 hour days I wasn't able to post this yesterday but January 6th is a big day in the birthday world for me.

My uncle Jim was a Hod Rod builder, Master Pin Striper and overall hipster. He also started the (click RED) Outlaw Car Show that his children still run today. He always had an eye for art, be it an art form that didn't involve paintings of bowls of fruit. He died of cancer in 2003 and is sorely missed.

Another Birthday is that of my mother-in-law, Vicky Davidson. Vicky has the distinction of being in the first class at the SMU Perkins School of Theology to allow women. In other words, she is one of the first female ministers in the Methodist church. You go GIRL!!!!! Vicky is also a great grandmother, mother and sister.

The other is Kim Wilson who is one of my musical heros. Kim helped form the Fabulous Thunderbirds with Jimmy Vaughan in the 70's. He still leads the band and is as good as ever.

So Happy Belated Birthdays guys!
